It's nice to see a shot that shows the polar bear as a predator.
Contrary to the public image of the species, these guys would rather eat you than snuggle with you. :-)

Amazing how often these bears have their eyes closed or semi-closed, isn't it. What an unusual encounter you had, very nice (if graphic) image.
